Car having hard time starting when hot
I've searched and read a few posts on the Main fuel relay being problems in the summer, for not turning the pump on. Last night I cranked it and it bogged like it was running on 2 cylinders. It felt like it was flooding. It use to crank up on the first time, now it turns over like it is starving for a spark. So today I replaced the cap/rotor and nobody has the main relay except for the dealer. Just wanted to know if anyone is having these same problems. I don't want to get stranded. Thanks

it could be the fuel pump relay, maybe change the spark plugs
sometimes you have to goto the dealer for the right parts
good luck

Went to NAPA and they carry them but were out. Plugs are good and I think that it would have to be the relay. I'll have to pick one up tomorrow. I have also noticed a drop in my Idle speed too. It was at 800 now it is 500. any ideas?

sounds more then a main relay , the main relay usually just makes it not start , not bog out , , someone correct me if i'm wrong here
