open the hood to check my oil (as i do every morning)
and noticed oil on the underside of my hood, passengers side front
and wondering what could be spraying oil up like that?
i had driven the car kinda hard before parking it (couple blast's to 6500-7000rpm but mostly playing on winding roads keeping it around 3500-5000rpm)

i'll take pics in the morning when it's light out but im thinking is coming from the dist.?

also have a very slow (1 quart per 2500-3k miles) front main seal leak
how time consuming and how much of a pain is that to change?

 

Dipstick maybe.

 

maybe but i don't think, cause the dipstick is on the dirvers/cam gear side
whereas this is on the passengers side presumably above the distributer
and area where trans and engine are mated together.

it'll make more sense when i post pics in the a.m.
