Calling all swap gurus ~ Swapped b20z to b20b
i recently purchased a 01 crv with the usual b20z engine in it with a locked engine. The motor was locked because the bearings and pistons were fried and almost welded in the block, i was able to break them free and turn the engine enough to dis engage it from the transmission. i removed the engine swapped the oil pump along with the sensor and the timing belt. I also swapped the manifold, and oil pan to the b20b engine that i purchased.
After the swap turned on the car, the engine turns on and idles fine no problem at all. The check engine light was on and i get the p1337 code and 2 other codes that were the o2 sensors (i broke them somehow when i was pulling out the old engine out, just pulled the switch from the wires.)
my problem is: when i press the gas pedal there is absolutely no response from the engine. no rev nothing. I check the fuses all were fine. I checked the fuel pump by opening the fuel filter cap and i saw there is fuel pressure. check the fuel filter it was clean. checked the fuel injectors clean too. The car turns on fine so gas has to be going in the engine. The throttle body is clean and the link to it opens up fine.
im thinking it could be the throttle position sensor, but i read that i might need to swap the wiring harness or ECU. I deliberately swapped the oil pump along with the sensor so i dont have to rewire anything, am i missing something???
please help

check and see of the MAP and TPS connectors are reversed.
Also, reusing the oil pump from an engine that died from oil starvation is a horrendously bad idea. You should either replace the JDM pump with a new USDM unit or perform the CKF truck shown here: http://technet.ff-squad.com/ckftrick.htm

i dont think the tps and map would fit in the same place but ill check either way. could a bad oil pump/crank sensor cause this problem im having. what about the wire harness and the ecu? i dont have to swap those right?
ok well i test the tps sensor and its giving me a .89 closed and a 4.98 fully open with the multi meter, the sensor seems fine. I installed the o2 sensors afte i tried to reassemble them together but it instantly throws on the light. so i guess i have to get some new ones.
does anyone have any other suggestions?

when i open the throttle the rpm goes up to 1k and stays there if i keep it fully open. i sounds like only more air is going inside the engine.
i have fuel pressure and the injectors are working fine. i think it might be a bad ecu. unless im wrong.

I did not test the map sensor at all. i will test it tomorrow morning and report back on the results
I have a 99 and the tps plug and map plug are the same exact plug. If one is plugged into the other's spot it won't work proper. It is the fastest thing to check. I messed it up on my d-series swaps a couple times, but it's a quick and easy fix. Also it didn't damage anything any time it happened.
