Buying an '09 LX-SR--have only seen love for the Si here!
Why no love for the LX-S? I am picking up an 09 LX-SR sedan for 13,000 with 34,000KM on it; figured I couldn't go wrong for the price, it's mint.
Anybody have any thoughts on the car itself? I have done my research but haven't seen anything about this model in particular. Any problems with this year/model? Anything good about it?!

Why no love? No k20, no 6 speed, no LSD! Also they never recalled civic si engine blocks
Problems, all 06-11 civic have sunvisor issues, by 09 I think the engine block is no longer a concern, shocks/struts seem to go bad from anywhere between 30-60k, seems likes non si's are kinda prone to steering rack issues/leaking(not a lot, but I've never sold a rack for a si lol) floor mats seem to be made of shitty material and wear out somewhat quickly(get all seasons) paint of certain colors have clear coat issues(think its mainly black and Fiji blue) uhhh....that's all I can think of ATM.

Just got my 2006 Honda Civic iut of the shop with compressor, belt and oil pan repairs. Drove away and radio wouldn't work. Suddenly, this used car I bought a year ago needs a security code to turn the radio in. What?? 30 years old and no tunes in the car? How in the world would you get this code? What could have happened during the week in the shop to have caused this code activation to occur. What can I do (or they do) to fix this?

Google that ****. "Honda Radio Code" it will literally be the first result taking you to Honda's website for radio codes.
