Default *B20 Vtec Automatic? tuneable? hmm

Im wanting to put a vtec head on my crv's b20 the extra 40 hp would feel great. i was planning on getting a 40-60k mile jdm crv auto trans for a low miles one.. fully rebuild my b20 block and then add the head. But once i went over the plans with my local tuners they said there is no way to tune it to change the shift points. Sure it would make more power but it would be harder to get to that power before it just shifts and is pointless. Not let me make this straight.. Im not looking into making a RACE CAR outta this CRV. Im a engine builder. and I just want my crv to run a little better and be more fun to drive! Any suggestions for the Auto CRV? and yes i want to keep it auto. i also have a 5-speed Fit and some times i want a nice auto to drive instead.

No it can't be done.

Also a JDM automatic trans will throw codes using a USDM ECU due to different gear ratios.

There was an auto h2b with the h23 blue with gsr auto trans on here about a month ago.
They tuned it with an auto ecu with neptune demon, not quite sure what ecu they used though.
It had custom shift points.
So i say that its possible. Probably depends on the tuner too.
