Today when i started up my car (96 gsr) there was a lot more play in the clutch then usual, I guess you could say it felt "softer" than usual. I didnt really pay any mind to it but when i got off work i got in and had the same problem. I drove home like that and got out of my car for maybe 30 minutes and had to leave again and it seemed that the clutch was almost back to normal, but there was still more play than usual. It still engages fine and doesnt slip or anything like that... should this be something i should be concerned about? this has never happened to me before.

You may have a leak in the hydraulic system. Is there fluid leaking onto your carpet from under your clutch pedal?

 

No, there is not. Could my clutch be going out?

 

Check for leaks at the slave and master cylinder. Try re bleeding your hydro system.

 

its your slave cylinder i had the same problem come in with my buddys 95 changed it and it worked perfectly again
