Default has anyone thought of just putting a boot on your car at night?

(srs) sounds kind of extreme, but like people have said, you can beat even the best alarm systems.. a boot design seems sturdy and not easy to beat quietly or quickly. im not saying use one when u go to the store, but just overnight in front of your house.

how many street level crooks are going to use a flatbed truck to tow your car out of your driveway at 2 AM and somehow do it quiet enough to not wake u up

About the same number that will be able to circumvent various other security systems. I'm not necessarily saying that a boot is a terrible idea, I'm just saying that if a car is on the road, it can be stolen.

What does this video prove? We know a tow truck can pick up a car. If you think all these hondas are stolen with a tow truck you got to be crazy.

You can look at how the theif leaves the car to see that it was driven away. I have yet to see a car on honda tech with all these stolen threads that one was towed with a truck.

the flatbed tow truck thing is quite silly if u ask me. especially when its parked out side of your house. the noise alone would make me go out side with the boomstick. but thieves are crazy. im currently saving up for a viper alarm, gps tracker, and a few other crazy things. sounds a bit extreme but before i put any money into my turd im guna know that its safe. plus, the house has a house and garage are alarm systemed up so im good for now.

Just two of my friend honda/acura got stolen that way (I think). They have Clutch lock, Club steering wheel lock, car alarm, two kill switch, and ECU not on the car. An was park sandwich like in the video, car gone never found to this day. Found the engine though 2 years later.
Well they not park at home though, they were partying at some friends house, and park on the street. I think the tow truck just act as repo. Both my friend not into HT, so you never see it posted here, and I wasn't on HT when it happen, not even have a honda back then.
