What does everyone use for security systems on their car???
I had a EG8 that was stolen almost 2 years ago and I'm gonna get another car not sure yet if I'm getting a EH3 or a EH9 but thats besides the point.
Anyways I had just a Viper Alarm in it which was damn near top of the line when I had it, but my car was still stolen.
The question I have is what is everyone using to protect their car from theft? My car will be a daily driver.
Thanks!

Put your car inside a garage at night. During the day hope no one tries taking it then.

Not going to talk about what I have.. but heres a couple of hints on what to do.
-Disconnect your interior door locks so thieves cant reach in & unlock it.
-Use 4 door rear handles & get rid of your key holes.
-Use your good alarm w/ gps tracking to lock/unlock your doors.
-Hide your alarm and gps tracking device well so its hard to get to.
-Hide your hood & trunk release.
-Cover your hood release cable with a metal plate under your hood. Booby trap it.
-Get lojack AND another GPS tracking system.
-User the boot to lock your wheel so its not towed.
-Use multiple levels of kill switches, clutch locks, clubs, and anything else to slow thief bitches down.
-sleep close to your car with a bat.
-dont park it for along time at malls or other crowded places for longer than 20 minutes at a time without your eyes on it.
-Always be paranoid.

search through my recent posts for answers..but yeah bottem line is if they want it they will get it..im thinking about getting an aligator and chaining it my car..that seems pretty bullet proof but yeah the key is slowing them down long enough for you to come outside and smack a bitch.. rock n roll

haha all that fancy **** isn't going to do anything when they drag it onto a flatbed. No matter what a car can be stolen, its just a matter of tracking it.
ramps and a winch near the cab and your **** is gone no matter what.

As true as that may be, even a flatbed can't override GPS.
Not to mention if you can catch a thief that's using a flatbed illegally they'll get *** raped and sent to jail so fast it's not even funny.
Usually for boosting cars you don't get too much time, but if ur using a flatbed illegally you really get owned.
GPS is basically your only bet. Civics aren't equipped with any fancy ignition equipment that can actually do anything aside from slowing down a thief.
People will tell you that "oh, well you want to slow them down, that's how you stop them, etc. etc. etc." but that's a heap of **** they tell themselves so they can sleep at night. I keep hearing that load of bullshit on H-T and it's annoying as hell. Slowing a thief down will NOT help you to a point where they won't steal your car. If your car is in a parking lot 300 ft from a building it doesn't matter if the alarm's on for 10 seconds or 3 minutes. Nobody gives a ****.
Your best bet is alarm w/ hidden sirens/backup batteries, 2 way paging, and a separated GPS system. Also, kill switches ftw.

theres nothing you can do to stop them from taking your car, if they want it, they will take it. You can just hope to slow them down with kill switches and other garbage
