Default LED to blink with turn singal

i hope i placed this in the right place... if i didnt its cause HT wouldnt let me post were i really wanted too...

My "?" is i want my LED strip to Blink WITH MY BLINKER BUT!! Not stay on when the blinker isnt on?

I unpluged blinker and installed the LED. It works but it stays on if the light are on

What i want is for it to be off all day intill the blinker goes on. then i want it to blink?

can any 1 help me with this !?

If the turn signal that you wired the LED strip inline with is also intended to be a marker lamp, then it will be on whenever the lights are on.

If you just want it to blink, then you'll need to wire it directly off the turn signal solenoid and not inline with the combination marker/turn lamp.

All 3 posts with video work for me.

After driving my wife's Jetta Sportwagen, which has them, I can certainly agree that having a turn signal in/on the side mirrors is a very valuable addition to the car.
