Default CRX gets spark, pops fuse 14 then won't fire after I replace it?

Hey all,
I'm struggling here. I'm in Australia and have an AUDM 1989 CRX Si. It's turbocharged and runs a Microtech MT-8 ECU, oh and has a D16A8. I haven't had issues with it before.
I recently went to start it, it kicked over fine, it ran a bit rough then died. The Main Relay fuse was popped (fuse 14 from memory). I changed the fuse and tried to run it again. Got No spark.
After stressing a bit I changed over to my spare dizzy (it has a squeaky bearing but works). The car started but the same exact thing happened.
I replaced the fuse again and now no spark... again. The fuse hasn't popped again so the ECU and Fuel Pump still work. The starter turns the engine over but no spark still.
It's going my head in.
What's going on here? I'm thinking I need a priest instead of an electrician.
Btw. I'm a diesel mechanic so I know a thing or two, but this is deep.
Any help appreciated!

You've just replaced a fuse twice that blew. The question is why did the fuse blow, not why you don't have spark. Ignore the spark until you fix the circuit problem.

I checked everything over and discovered my thermostat ground wasn't hooked up. Bingo I got spark straight away as this is the ground for the main relay and ECU, the engine ran until what I can assume is engine vibrations shorted out the engine loom and blew that fuse again.
Thanks for the advice mate, time to chase a short circuit..
