My Ef hatch build. The Long Road.
Greetings guys. My names Rob I had picked up this Ef off a buddy of mine and decided that I would start slowly making modifying it beyond the stock capabilities. Bear with me there will be spurts of activity. Any advice is always welcome, whether good or bad!
The first few pics are of how I got it off of him.
Really clean car to start out with.

I put a set of Koni yellow shocks all the way around and have it set to the stiffest setting there is on them (slightly rough ride at times
) Added a set of Tein lowering springs to it as well. I have a camber kit in the back but installed stock honda control arms, ball joints, inner and outer tie rods new in the front and the camber and toe in is perfect as it sits.

Through out this I've been trying to focus on performance rather than looks. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get this thing looking snazzy too!
Besides painting the bumpers white, battery relocated to the back, Type R TB and a short ram intake. Those were the only modifications I've done to it in a long time.
Recently however I started getting the itch back. So I gutted the interior, added a rear strut tower bar, racing seats, harness bar and harnesses. Soon (hopefully) I'll be doing some engine work to it as well. I've got everything I need but living in Colorado, winter is coming soon and my garage is tiny and unheated.

So, stupid me couldn't find all the spot welds to drill out so I thought I could cut them with my pry bar.... Bad Idea! It works for most of them but if you pry even slightly the bar will go through the floor....
But I now knew where all the welds were so the drivers side came out much better. I had to remove these brackets to fit the seats to come into position.

I finished taking out the carpet and found that the floor beneath, like the trunk area was nasty dirty.... Simple Green to the rescue !!
Although the floor doesn't look a lot better the bucket of water proves that indeed a lot of dirt had been vanquished this day.
