the civic i just baught has aftermarket headlight asemblies. in the low beam theres a standard h3 bulb (i know cause i had to replace one) not sure whats in the high beam one.

anyway i noticed in the lowbeam lense part its a projector lense like the fish eyeball style.

if i where to go HIDs is there a way to tell if there shitty lenses or good ones?

i can tell from the funny parking light bulb thats goofy lookin not sure if there the same or not though but thats what they look like.

either way are they **** or good to go or what.

 

aftermarket projector headlights like that dont have good output at all.. if you want good output then go with a retrofit with real hid projectors..

 

k thanks for the info ill probably just leave the regular bulbs in them for a wile then. or maby upgrade to sylvania silverstars or something.

 

if you dont want to do a retro, i say go back to stock lights.. youll get better output than the headlights you have now..
