95 civic coupe molding
Hello everyone i know this question has probably been asked a few time. but here goes anyways. I have a 95 civic coupe and the previous owned decided he didn't like the body line so he "shaved" it as he stated. I have had the car for 3yrs now and just notice the "shaving: was just him putting a ton of bondo in the line, and it started to crack. So i had a few days off work and decided to see what was hiding under all the filler. removed it all and sanded it down. now i am on the hunt for the side moldings for my coupe. I have searched online and am either finding them for over 200 a set or for a sedan or hatch only. My question is does anyone know what the difference is between the coupe and hatch moldings? I know the fender and door molding is the same is the quarter panel? I have found tons for the hatch for about 60 online
I am curious about this also. I have a 93 hatch and previous owner did a number on the driver fender and door and as I look around for the moldings I see odd price changes between the two. Guess I may have to just go measure them all at the junkyard.
the coupe and hatch side moldings are the same on the fender and door but the coupe has a longer molding on the quarter panel, im pretty sure. You can get the exact molding for your coupe on password jdm...if you feel like spending $320 lol
Hmm, what does the moulding cost brand new from a US online dealer? The ones on PW:JDM are usually "thin" side mouldings (from Europe and Japan), so cost a premium.
Honestly there are so many Civics around me that get sent to the crusher 90% intact - it's really a shame.
