Paint Car with Rattle Cans?
Hey guys, I just wanted to know what you think about using Rustoleum to paint your car. Should I use rattle spray cans or the air compressor way? I have no idea how to do it that way though.
Is there a thread devoted to telling you how to paint your car with Rustoleum?
Thanks.

Rustoleum is like 3.44$ a can. I heard you need like 5-8 cans of primer and
10-15 cans of paint.
I don't know, is Rustoleom the best stuff to use? They make a clear coat, I think i'll use some of that.
I found some guides:

This is good too:

What's the difference between rattle cans and compressor guns? One is a cheaper?

For ~$50 - $80 you can buy a real paint gun, and everything you need including paint from harbor and freight to do a decent paint job. Plus you get experience and you will only get better.
If you must rattle can your car, look into plastidip.
Ether way you go, body preparation is the key to a good paint job. You can't just spray a car and expect it to look good, no matter how you apply it. There is prep work to be done and if you want it to look really good. There is a lot of work you can do after as well. Wet sanding! The more work you put into it the better it should look. Not so much how you apply it, although a gun with the proper rigging would be easier. The devil is in the details!
Buy yourself a body and paint book and start reading. There is a lot more to it than just pulling the trigger or pushing down on a spray nozzle. Unless you are looking for one of those orange pealed paint jobs with lots of runs and washed out colour.
