i got a ???? i got a 91 integra ls cable tranny n the pass side axle i replaced it last month n now ever since my tranny been leaking oil so im assuming i have a bad seal but also i noticed today that the axle has play inside the tranny like it wiggles in all directions could that be from the seal or a badd differencial lmk ppl thanks

What exactly do you mean, "the axle has play inside the tranny like it wiggles in all directions"???

If you mean you can move the axle up/down and side to side in the dif. than it can only be the drive shaft spline is too small, [diameter] to fit properly into the drive pinion gear or the drive pinion gear is worn out, [inside spline or outside teeth]. 94

 

it moves inside the tranny idk how to explain it but the car drives fine n it makes 0 noises

not in and out just side to side n up n down but when the car is lifted on jacks it moves alot but when the car is on the floor it dnt move as much but still the movement is there

 

Then it has to be as I explained, I can't see it being anything else.

Where did you get the new axle, what brand, and was it new or a remand? 94

it is either not in all the way,teeth are screwed(in tranny or on the axle),or the store gave you the wrong ones..

 

Found it, that's looking like the wrong axle, or maybe a defective axle, but definatly not right.

Do you still have the old axle?

If so, pull the new one and compare the ends. 94

Well, mine is doing the same thing, wiggling side to side and puking oil. And I always forget the damn name of the thing but i think its the main bearing seal? Again someone correct me if i'm wrong.

But it could be a wrong axle, video is kinda hard to see lol

BUT, if it's what I am pretty sure is the problem like mine, then that means is your tranny is done-zo, gotta get it open and replaced.

 

tha tranny shift smooth n drives with no problems or noises im hohing its the wrong axle im getting it replaced today bc i think they gave me the driver axle instead of the pass if thats even possible lol but thanks bro ^^^^^

 

no more wobble or wiggleling lol the idiots over at advance auto part gave me the wrong axle the guy had given me the driver side axle instead of the pass side so once i popped that new bitch in **** was stiff *** hell n no more period for my tranny lol
