Idk if you'll get 11s out of a 1.8 if you go to 2.0L you have better chances that's, what my build is consisting of all motor itr 2.0L ,I wld say do more research.

Whats the REAL setup of the motor.. head work? Dont just say bolt ons, because we all know "bolt-ons" could be alot of stuff.

Header*

What cams / valvetrain setup? What type of manifold?

Is it ported or stock, or worked alittle bit, stock valves? You went high compression pistons on stock rods? Rods have upgraded rod bolts?

Common questions here, its a very huge achievement i can tell you, but giving some more info on the setup , actual info would be benificial to the entire forum.

I have customers making 200+whp on "bone stock" motors with the a good combo of BOLT ONS and my camshafts..

Saying bolt ons could mean anything.. Hell, marc187 had a 1.8 that made 215whp..I think it'd be benifical to everyone to have his setup completely broken down so we know what we're looking at..I'm not being a dick its very very vague when looking at it, i'd like more info.

I made 213 out of a 1.8 with gsr crank not a LS, and with E85 could have been 225-230, better intake manifold that lets the motor make power past 8500rpms another 5 to 10 on top of that, and your car its probably pretty light if its in the 11's with only 215whp

Well the car weighs nothing, 215 at the wheels, and a great driver. Starting to make a little more sense

I believe minimum weight for a b-series is still 1900 lbs with driver so I wouldn't call 1950 nothing. It almost seems that some are looking for any reason to discredit the OP just because they haven't done it themselves or can't do it. There's nothing wrong with trying to get details on the setup but was it really necessary to say it ran fast because it weighs nothing? No one is saying anything about Jaywest going low 11s on a stock bottom end H22 with his 1800 lb car so I don't see any reason to emphasize that the OP ran fast because his car weighs nothing.

well said...car is lightened...its not cut to ****. the engine is something quite simple, put together on a TIGHT budget (cheap ***** ;-) )...ill leave it up to him if he wants to get into specs...the car is moving for such a little motor...congrats
