Speedometer issues
this is a 1992 Honda Accord LX
Background for the issue; I got pulled over last night for no tail lights, put a new one in. Get in the car the tachometer isn't working, than I notice nither are is my speedometer or clock, all of which were working prior to putting on the tail Light, there's no check engine light on or anything, what are some likely causes to this problem and how can I fix it. Thanks
Edit: Here's a full recap of what I've done with the car in the past week:
Put in a new headliner, as well as took out and painted control panel trim put a new 16 pin connector in the radio harness (old one had got cut off when stolen) Day after doing all the repairs the back-light to the instrument cluster. Checked the fuse ( I think it's #32 small light fuse it's a 15A) changed the fuse, turned on light fuse blew right after turning the switch, rechecked wiring every where every thing was good, but still kept blowing. about a week later after getting pulled over and replacing tail light everything in the instrument stopped working, and i mean everything but turn singles, and heating (power windows no longer work as well) changed fuse #1 or #2 lighting and turn signles it's blown again.
I plan on taking my car in to get digonsed some time this week, but if someone can save me 100$ much appreciated lol

That was the first thing I did. Well not with a meter but none are blown.
New problem I've found: windows won't roll down I might as well add this the lights on the dashboard don't work as well, I feel like there is a common problem some where I'm just not seeing

I'm having the same issue with my '92 lx, the speedometer randomly cuts out and drops to 0 but all the other gauges work fine. I figured its not the speed sensor because the check eng. light would be on in that case.
Sounds to me you have a short somewhere in your wiring?either your grounding out somewhere?or you have wires touching?
I have a 94 accord with similar problem, but my temp gauge works fine,my RPM gauge works fine, its the speedometer thats not working and my fuel gauge not working also.
my speedometer tested good, when i start it it goes to 40mph real quick then drops to 0 and stays at 0 and my fuel gauge reads full all the time? Haha that would be nice if it were true
