ok im pulling a trans and replacing the clutch in my buddys gsr and i know how to pop the axles out by hitting the control arm by the boot but it doesnt wanna break free does anyone else have any suggestions for me? i need to get this done asap!!!!

 

um, wont pop free from where? it should slide out of the hub pretty easy and than you take a pry bar inbetween the axle and trans to pop it out there

 

rubber mallet to the end of the axle. or a block of wood and a hammer. at least that's what i think you're talking about.

 

Yah both sides should come out with ease as stated above should pop them out. Make sure you lube the splines when you install new ones will help for next time

 

never mind guys but no i worded that wrong i couldnt remove the knuckle from the lca itself the axle slid out fine i had to take both of the knuckles off to get it out but i got thanks for the input anyway guys!
