94 Integra wont start
So I tried to start my 1994 integra RS last night. It started up then instantly died. After it died it would only crank. It has done this before if I turn it off and try to start it up right after. Usually if I waited like 5 minutes it would fire up again. This time no luck. I started with the basics. I checked my battery connection and voltage. Everything checked out fine. I then replaced my spark plugs and spark plug wires. Still no luck. After that I tried replacing the main relay after doing some research. No luck. This lead me to think its got to be an issue with the fuel pump. I checked to see if the wire at the fuel pump were getting power and they were. I just couldnt hear it prime. I think thats probably where the problem is. I did some research and some people said there could be a problem with the ecu and not the fuel pump itself. I would think it the wires at the fuel pump were reading correct voltage that this wouldn't be the case. I'm kinda stumped. I dont wanna go out and buy a new fuel pump and have it not fix the issue. So any help would be great.
the "basics" would be more along the line of checking for:
spark
fuel
compression
timing
sounds to me as if it is a spark or fuel related issue.so check for spark by taking one of the plugs out,put it in the plugwire, and touch the end to a ground while someone cranks a couple times.update.
check for fuel by either smell,or take the fuel rail off and see if injectors spray(must be a mist when it shoots out.)while you crank it a few times.update.

So I checked each spark plug in the spark plug wires. Each was putting out a spark. I took off the fuel rail and fuel came out. I didnt take each injector out though. I tried to crack it aftyer and still didnt start. I listened to the fuel pump too. I couldnt hear it prime at all. I have the back seat out and the fuel pump cover off. Just the silver one with three screws. So I would think I should be able to hear it. If I had fuel in the fuel rail would that mean that fuel was going through the pump fine? I guess it could be left over from when it started up last time too.
I couldnt smell any fuel on the new spark plugs I put in after I cranked it and took them out to check if there was a spark comming off of them.
Get a actual spark tester looks like a spark plug but has clip on it to ground it out. Just holding it near a bolt will not simulate the combustion chamber it may spark but not be enough for combustion.
