H22 ECU help. P13 4W..is this an auto ECU?
It's got four plug holes in it...
So I call up Steve from HMO and say I think I got an auto ECU, and he said no, it came from a 5 Speed, but with 4 Wheel steering JDM Prelude.
I asked him what am I supposed to do, and he said just don't use the left over plug, and I'll be fine.
Can anybody confirm this? If this is true, is he right with his just don't use the plug speech? Will it run like a standard 5 speed ECU?
TIA.

I know that I have a P13 stock in my '93 Vtec 5 speed. But if it has four plug holes in it then my guess would be that it is an OBD-2 ecu. The number on mine is 37820 P13 A01 and if it is an auto, instead of A01 on the end it would say A05 because 5 usually means auto. From what I know, in the US there were never any automatic VTEC Preludes for the years of 93 to 96. That all the info I have and hopefully it helps.
