How would you fix this broken fuel gauge?

I picked up a Canadian sir cluster with a broken fuel gauge. I figured I'd take it apart and swap the actual gauge behind the bezel. Everything came apart fine on it and my ex cluster with the donor gauge. When putting the orange sir needles back on I broke the end of the pin off.
I was thinking about heating the back of the needle to get the pin out and replacing it with a piece of a safety pin and some super glue.
Any other ideas cause you can't buy parts to clusters let alone whole clusters.
That's going to be a lot of trouble to get it calibrated right.... Even if you do super glue it and what not, how do you know you made the pin stick on the right spot. If it's possible to change out the fuel/temp gauge, I would. Maybe if somebody is trashing out a USDM EM1/SI cluster, take out that one because it looks very similar to the SiR (even though the SI says says SI and not SiR) just a thought.
The metal pin broke off in the gauge part and I can get donor gauges the problem is the metal pin needs to be a certain length to pop into the gauge. The way it is now it'll never reach.
Plus there's no calibrating it just align the gauge with mounting holes, screw it in and pop the needle in and it rolls down to the bottom on it's own

But that's what I was thinking was to heat the needle to remove the pin hopefully without damaging it and putting another pin in. Or swap needles from the oem ex cluster. Also looks like it won't be easy without screwing it up
you can buy the parts at the dealer i swaped my temp/ fuel gauge when i converted from auto to manuel it was like $50 if i remember right

Thanks dude I missed that. I was looking in instrument cluster breakdowns instead. I wonder if it'll be the right color or not. I guess I could use the serial number on mine to find out what year it's from
I think that's what I got. I'll post a picture of it if I can't find convincing proof online that tells me if its Canadian or European. I thought I read somewhere Canadian ones have mph in small print and euro and Asian ones were all kph with no mph below.
