Default window wipers

So today I just went and bought a set of new wipers for my 96 Ls Teg 4 door. And I notice the the driver side wiper is sitting low, its not evn on the windshield and the pass. side is a lil off too. And they hit each other when i turn them on and goin back to sitting spot. I was wandering if i can just unscrew the screw on the wiper and adjust it? Im sure the size of the wipers are right becuz i asked autozone what sized i need, whoich were 22" and 18". Unless 2 doors and 4 doors are different? Oh and the old wipers sits low too.

Any help wpuld be appreciated.

Sounds like a bushing or several in the track system for the windshield wipers has gone bad. Pull the cover off and inspect.

there are clips around the entire cowl remove them and the whole piece comes off I recommend getting new clips because there is really no way to get them off without breaking them

^^^Yep pretty much that. The clips get brittle from baking in the sun for the life of the car. They all pretty much break when you remove them. No way around it.
