its getting cold and i'm too lazy to clean comptech filters, so I'd like to go through paper kind over cold weather.

Theres no doubt that honda oem filter is well built, but it was $45 at the dealer, foam filter was dirty and i wanted to get it over that day. So I decided to go with generic kind, after visiting few part stores, so many had poor sealing. Finaly found a fram filter that looked good all the way around.

Here's the question: How do these generic filters hold up after few thousand miles? If you use one, please reply

They work fine. That's what came stock right?

 

no, i don't think it did, unless fram makes honda oem air filter

 

The one that came stock was most likely made by Filtec, or it will be the JDM counterpart, which is not Filtec, but the filters are about the same.
