i have a 98 ek coupe dx, i pulled out my b16a from a del sol i want to put it in my coupe. what do i need to do to convert it for the wiring harness, i will put my vtec p30 ecu in the ek, so i was just wondering what all i needed to do or can i just plug it in to the harness in the car now

What year was the del sol? If it was a 94-95 you're going to have a few more wiring items to do. If its a 96-97 it's going to have its own share of wiring. Either way you can't use the engine harness due to it being two piece and yours is one piece. Also if its 94-95 P30 you'll need an ECU jumper harness. Post the year and I can help you from there.

 

in the ek is a d series harness. the del sol was a 93

 

if your ek is manual with vtec (Ex model) your harness with be pnp and to use your p30 ecu you need obd2 jumper to obd1, if your ek doesnt have vtec wire up that one wire to harness, if its non manaul harness get any 96-00 ex harness manaul
