Default 1991 civic HB, replaced cv axle, grinding noise.

I replaced the front passenger cv axle in my hatch, I've done cv axles before so everything went smooth. When I cut the wheels all the way, there is almost a grinding noise/feeling, did I tighten down the sway bar too tight? the cotter pin did fit in the hole just fine.

Tire rubbing splash guard? Or you may have accidentally pushed the brake dust shield into the rotors? Though that would make noise without having to cut the wheel.

I was thinking maybe the tire, but it didn't do it before. Is the turning radius on these cars that severe?

Is your car lowered? Are you still on stock size wheels and tires? Inspect the splash guard to make sure all clips and screws are secure.
