It's been a lonnnnnggggg time since I've posted here so first off let me say hello. Alright now that I've done that this is my issue.

Yesterday I took my rex for a short weekend drive and when I got back I noticed a knocking noise coming from my engine bay. I didn't drive the car hard and the block is fully built so I couldn't imagine that I threw a rod or anything too serious like that (crossing my fingers). To me it seems like it's coming from the intake manifold area but I really don't know. What do you guys think?

Its hard to tell from the video, you hear more of a ping rather then a knock. Does seem to come from the intake manifold.

 

Do a valve lash first, if that does not fix it, then drop the oil pan and check for metal flakes.
