hey guys ive been having some transmission problems in my SiR swapped del sol, 4th gear is completely gone and it grinds and has been popping out of 3rd

i have a non LSD YS1 from a 92 teg (cable)

now ive done some research and noticed that the gear ratios for 3rd and 4th gears are near identical between the two transmissions, my question is could i save myself some money by taking the 3rd and 4th gear sets out of the YS1 and put install them in my Y21, or would i be better off trying to snag a good b16 trans for my sol?

any advice would be appreciated, thanks guys

 

You can use YS1 cable guts in a hydro case. Remember that all '92 - '93 Integra transmissions are stamped YS1, but only the GS-R has the shorter ratios.
