ok guys i know this is kinda biest on this Honda Forum but i recently bought a nissan 240sx and someone wanted to trade me for a 1989 honda crx just wanted to get your guys opinion i mean i have always been a honda Fan had 2 integra's. just wanted to weight the variables i know the crx is gonna be slower its a hf and 240sx parts are hard to find around here. so let me know your opinion

 

youd probably be getting beat if its a straight trade but that crx is a nice front wheel drive platform to start a build on. if your looking for something stock and better keep your car

The HF is probably the worst one you could get.... I would keep the 240. You live in Cali.... NO parts are hard to find.

 

Any mods to the CRX?
HF is the weirdo one and was designed for saving gas. If it's running the stock engine then you are looking at a performance downgrade or a gas saving win.
Not sure what you are after so your call.

If it does have a swap, then you will inherit all the possible jimmy-rigging the previous owner(s) have done.

 

I'd stick with the 240, more fun with rwd and a better platform.

 

Depends on which car is in better shape.

 

Well either way I was gonna do a swap either a b18 or b16 in the crx and I was gonna do a ford 5.0 in the 240sx

 

5.0 the 240.
HF will be nowhere even close to the same ballpark.
All depending on the condition of the rest of the car and if you have $ to get the 240 done up to your liking.

 

Probably if they trade with money on top..but i would stick with the 240 good drifting car
