520T not setting off alarm after pulled battery
I just hooked up my Clifford 50.7x (same as Viper 5704) and everything works other than the backup battery trigger. I dumped the 520T battery and opt for a 1.3aH 12v one. I was testing to see if the backup battery module work by unplugging the car's main battery, but the alarm doesn't go off. The alarm is still powered by the battery because you can hear the siren chirp when you press unlock/lock but the actual doors don't unlock/lock. I hooked the 520T blue trigger to the trunk diode isolated. I then tried the extra sensor port with just the 520T in the line, and it still doesn't work. Anyone know what's going on?
I think you have to trigger a sensor to get the battery backup to kick in. It's powering your alarm once you disconnect the main battery. If someone happens to pop your hood your hood pin trigger should set off the alarm anyway.
That's what I was thinking of, but if someone cuts power from the steering column/fuse panel...Well my door trigger and window breaking sensor got me covered.

Either you tag the output wrong. You have aftermarket amps or capciters in the car. Or you have a bad ebay 520t. The unit should go instance trigger withen a few seconds.
