Sup guys searced for a bit but couldn't find a straight answer.

After a couple races today, clutch engages and but won't go. On gears 1-5 and reverse if engaged rpms go up and miles start climbing up a little but car won't go. Some rattling sound coming from transmission/clutch...

my question is, is the clutch maybe out? broken? or did the tranny went out? tranny is from a 99 base lude.

Want to have some possible causes before taking out tranny to look at budget.

 

are your axles all the way in,? I've had one pop out on me before. Either that or the trannys prolly shot. If your miles go up, the clutch is working, because it's reading the speed sensor.

 

yeah both axles are all thew way...im not running vvs just cable speed since keep crx all stock from interior. but yea mostlikely tranny went out.
