Please i have my 2006 model honda civic check engine blinking, whenever it happens like that the car doesn't pull well at all. and my ignetion coil keep on going bad frequesntly, what might cause this to happen? i need help. thank you

 

If its a 2006 pull the code with a scanner and post it

 

Blinking MIL is a severe misfire which would also be why your car runs poorly when it's happening. Pull the codes as said and see if it's one cylinder or which ones specifically. Is your car stock or modified...and are you replacing parts with OEM or generic?

 

A misfire can eventually ruin the catalytic convertor - it needs immediate repair.

 

You should take it to your nearest mechanic and have him take a look at it, especially if its a misfire.

 

Overwhelming details on trim/engine/mods for this 2006 civic, either way you have to get your vehicle scanned for trouble codes and go from there.

 

I wouldn't drive it if possible. Damage may be minor now, but will cause severe damage if you keep driving it with a misfire.
