Pedal Install Questions - Dumb and Easy Stuff
Ok. So I got my OMP 1000's in the mail yesterday.
I'm pretty clueless when it comes to stuff like pedals. Here are some assumptions I have made about installing these pedals. Let me know if I'm on the right track or not, or any suggestions you have.
I assume this is a 2/3 beer process. And...
1. You take the stock rubber pedal covers off. Are they even covers?
2. Drill holes into the metal pedal (that sounds funny....) under the rubber.
3. Bolt pedals down tightly.
4. Drive car with new pedals and drink more

That is pretty much it. Altough you should not drink and drive...
Try to position the new pedals to improve your heel /toe technique if you which.

Although with my we-todd mechanic skills, I may have to just keep drinking after installation and drive much, much later on, maybe even just wait till the next day!
Don't forget your dremel tool... My OMP's didn't cover the metal pads fully, so I had to grind and grind and... ...turned out to be a 6 pack job, but they look and feel great!

I installed the same pedals about 2 months ago. They're pretty easy, just be careful when drilling the pedal for the gas pedal. I only put one screw in that one because there isn't really room to drill another and it fits snugly with just one, but more power to you if you can get both in there. The other two pedals were a breeze!
After a second look, the actual 'pedal' seems to be plastic. Well, at least not some sort of steel/metal. Can anyone confirm this? If so, any regular drill bit would do the trick.
