Hey Guys .. I need to change my suspension.. reason being when i go on the Highway or street and i hit a small dip even if i slow down .. my tires will hit the inside walls of the teggy and it smells like burn tire .. what suspension should i go with.. Any suggestions

 

I had the same issue, with tokico oem replacments I decided to go Eibach lowering springs.-1.7 inch drop on fatFives. Now I almost never rub, although the drop is still too low for my preference.
Also, tire size is a concern if you dont want your fender liners to shred. I believe Im on 195 tire size.

 

Im new to the hole Suspension thing.. whats the diffrence in coil over shocks .. etc

 

Pretty much two ways. Lowering springs: simply swap the springs out

Adjustable coil over is basically the same spring Is sitting on a collar that can be spun up or down to adjust the ride height.

 

Does that also help in the stiffness in the car. like i hit a bumb will i still feel the whole "bump" or will i sorta feel it.. i just wat my teggy to feel more stiff not so jumpy

 

Stiffness is entirely different. Stiffness has to do with spring rates and dampening.

 

just buy coilover sleeves and a good set of shocks.

a lot of people like to do the ground control coilover sleeves with tokico blue shocks. look into it. has a good street ride feel.

i myself like the more aggressive ride for track. all depends what u want

also is your name in reference to MGS series. if so, cool. MGS zero is gonna be the ****.

nice. but you do know that the nes and SNES have no play in the original story line. it was made in USA just for $$$. not an actual hideo kojima project. i love MGS myself.

back to topic. good luck with your search. suspension is a serious thing, to me that is. right now im running ground control coilover with illumina white shocks. looking in getting full coilovers soon after my swap is done.
