Default b16 stock internals

Where can I find information about the stock internals of b16a (sir II) and b16a2/a3 motors? I'm trying to put together a bare block/head and I want to just put in all stock parts as its my first build.. Been searching for a while now so if anyone could help point me in the right direction i'd be really happy

a Honda store themselves might have information on it thats more in depth than Wikipedia lol. they should have the info. possibly in a helms type manual u coudl order offline, but i dont think any manuals go that indepth on parts. at least my chilton didnt.

Helms manuals tell you EVERY SINGLE bolt that is on your car, right down to torque specs for every bolt... I mean everything.

So they should have most info you need to know.

Mostly all the parts off the block that I bought that it didn't come with. I have some friends that can identify whats missing for me but I want to find diagrams to learn about the parts myself. I'm actually just using the parts diagrams from the majestic honda parts website, which is really helpful.

Just something that you guys can maybe clear up for me. In this picture:
where the rod is labeled 9, if I purchased part 9 would it come with the entire rod, including the bolt, nut, bearings (parts 7,8, 18)?

#9 appears to be the entire rod assembly. bearings arent included in that.

I think some parts might be cheaper if u bought aftermarket like the rods. The crank will be high for a hop part. I'd try a junkyard or search the forums and have it reworked at a machine shop

yeah the rods are ~$100 each, so about $400... I have some rods my friend gave me, if they're reworked does it weaken them in any way? or they become good as new?

No it's very minimal. Just .005 larger bearings most of the time if any. Depends on the condition

yea, really an OEM crank shouldn't be machined. I read in a post somewhere because they are coated with something and if you take it off, it weakens the crank.
