Default rebuild

I have had a b18c5 all oem for some time now and it burns oil bad when in v tec. Im planning on getting a rebuild done on it with all oem parts. want to keep it original due to the fact that the motor was purchased from acura in 01 and have paper work for it. my question is does anybody know how much cash in parts can i expect to spend, and how much in labor. I want this done right so i am planning on getting this done at a shop. any info will be great. thanks.

SIGHHHHHHHHHHH

Ok, first thing you need todo is figure out where you are burning oil from. Do a leakdown test and see whats failing, rings or valves. You may get lucky and just need the head rebuilt.

And as for how much its going to cost that cant be answerd. Ive rebuilt many motor with just a couple hundred bucks into it. and thats with using oem parts. but i do it my self so i save on labor.

Have you done a compression test or leak down test?
