Idle problem, need help!
I'll keep it simple. I'm currently running a jdm b16b right now while I'm working on a build for the b18c5. Swapped it in and it ran fine for about 2 months. A couple weeks ago I decided to replace the plugs because the car was sputtering everynow and then when I would be traveling (meduim throttle). Spark plugs came out black. Too rich? Maybe. So I replaced the plugs and we decided to swap out the ignitor inside the dizzy to see if it would also help. Took the dizzy out and swapped out the ignitor inside it. Picked up new cap and rotor....new cap didn't fit, used old cap and new rotor.
Everything back together, car started up cold just fine. As soon it warmed up (10 mins idling)....the idle just starts to drop....about to die. Response from gas pedal is also delayed...it bogs.
Towed it to my buddys shop. Did a compression test....170 across the board. Is timing off? IACV? Dizzy? Valve lashes off? We're totally confused on where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
NOTE: Car ran like **** with stock ITR P73 ECU because of crank sensor? It ran much better when I used my Hondata s300 because we disabled some CELs. Wonder if this affects anything.
