need help!!! after replacin the distributor it wont start it just cranks
I have a 93 prelude wit a 99 engine swap my distributor went bad I took out the old one and replaced it wit a new one but now it wont start. I didnt move anything don't understand what I did wrong please help
Did you replace it with the right dizzy? Obd1 and 2 h22 dizzys are different. How is your car wired? Obd1 or 2?
Obd2 yes its the correct one. They both look alike but the internal modules r different they obd 1 only has 2 modules the obd 2 has 3 modules the new one its identical to the old one
It should still start, the slot is offset on the cam so it should be impossible to put it in 180 degrees out. And rotating the dizzy only gives a limited amout of asvance/retard and it should run max/min anyways. Try rotating it to see if it starts and check for spark... If nothing, try running it with your old dizzy. What was wrong with your old one?

Ya it's not making much sense. Double check your wire sequence. Was it running fine before you swapped the old one?
I did that it.seems fine only thing I can think of is defective dizzy I already went and ordered another one hopefully dat will b the problem
ok if your getting spark and the gears are aligned correctly the only things left are fuel and air. Are you getting fuel into the system at all and also is your tb working and giving enough air to the car
The tb works fine I have gas. How do I check if the gears are aligned? I don't think they moved since I didn't move any thing other than the dizzy
on the cam gears you have to lines 1 on each gear. those should be aligned together when they come around to top dead center.
What I meant by fuel is that if your getting fuel into the system or ie pressure
