Default Limp mode ef

well i converted my ef to multi port using obd1 injector, so no resistor box, bought a new motor and it ran great even passed smog. Now my trouble is, i've swapped my car with a b20 vtec motor, gsr head. I bought the ry-wire full conversion harness including the vtec sub harness. Well after getting the motor in and started, it runs like crap from limp mode causing of crank position sensor. Whats wierd is i started the motor the night i pulled it out from my friends crx and it ran great. Now being its in my car with everything hooked up and gone through, its in limp mode. Im curious if the wires ran straight to the ecu from the dizzy for the multi port conversion need to be switch around cause there not jumping right through the harness to the obd1 ecu.. really weird but that was my thought before the swap, curious if the two wires that are ran from the dizzy to the ecu for crank position sensor need to be moved??

lmk thanks please..

b20 vtec? not enough info. what distributor? what codes did you pull? what rewire harness? a complete engine swap harness or an obd0 to obd1 connector at the ecu?

yes b20vtec with a gsr head... I'm thinking a obd1 gsr distributor. Only code I was throwing was crank position sensor. Obd0 to obd1 ecu jumper, obd0 to obd1 distributor jumper, and vtec sub harness which was all plug in, no wiring required..

something is messed up in the wiring or you need a new distributor. you can either check for wire continuity or run new wires to the ckps

check your obd0-obd1 wiring conversion. everything is NOT plug and play, you have to move pins or add pins to ecu for crank position sensor code 4 which puts it in limp mode and wont rev pass 3500rpm.
