An exhaust on a stock motor, especially on a D is just a little pricey accessory, if you don't need it, then eh. Your car, your money. You're just spending hundreds of dollars on sound... of course you're going to attract attention.
....fix your license problem, you want to pay some good cash for an exhaust, then maybe get pulled over for driving an exhaust-fitted Honda just for the hell of it? Pay more cash for a ticket etc;... Do thing's right the first time, man.
One thing you have to remember is that when you get an exhaust on your car, you're going to hear it whenever you drive, unless it's only loud on WOT. Passing by a car with nice exhaust is one thing, but commuting in it for miles is another.
I did my research at one time, read that Yonaka Catbacks were respectfully cheap and had a good sound for their price of ~$300.
On the higher end would be the Apexi WS2 Catback (not axleback though) which had a really good idle and WOT sound, but that price is ~$650
Look it up, or listen to vehicles in person. Be sure their engine setup is similar to yours. assuming your vehicle has a stock motor. Let me pull up a stock motor w/ Yonaka & Apexi WS2:

Personally, I might look into custom piping and grab this $40-$50 muffler instead of those pricey $200+ axlebacks because my catalytic converter is clogged (d16y7) and might as well do everything at once.

Yeah cops in my town see/hear a civic with an exhaust an automatically assume its "one of those damn kids" and instantly feel the need to run your plates/pull you over. My cars currently open down pipe because there wasn't an exhaust when I got it, and I'd rather save up an get a nice one than throw a crappy one on. But when I do get one I'm probably going to go with a Megan Racing. You can look up sounds of different exhausts on YouTube
OP, spend that money on some bus passes. The cost of a good exhaust system will get you bus passes for a few years.
I know I sound like I'm being an ***, but you aren't going to get illegal help here.

Considering current political asylum programs in place, no, it really doesn't. I have two friends who were here illegally. They were brought over from Mexico when they were 2. They're not illegal anymore. All politics aside, being an illegal immigrant isn't an excuse, unless you're also a criminal.
OP I'm assuming that since you don't have a license it means that you have no insurance as well.
You better save that money in case you hit someone because when they find out you have no insurance and no license they're gonna have a field day with your financial well-being.

why do people completely go off the subject i think the point was to give advice about exhuast a quiet one with smooth sound not to ask questions about being legal and insurance and lisence. . now talking about legal and not legal stuff . . . people seem to love giving complete difference ansers out of the subject all the time. . . if you aint gonna help out on that just dont comment i think everyone knows their own risks they take all the time ...
