Default 97 civic ex brake light problem

Hey guys, I have a 97 honda civic ex. For some reason my brake lights are not working. I have swapped the bulbs and replaced the fuse and everytime i press the brake the horn/stop light fuse under the hood is blown. It has happened 3 times now. If any1 could help me out that would be awesome. Thanks in advance

you have a short... most likely towards the tail light assembly... pull the housings out of the tail lights and try... if it still blows fuses, check each power wire to the bulb and check continuity to ground

I had this happen with me too. come to find out the pin on the ECU for the Brake something, got bent touching another pin. I also traced my wire from the brake switch at the petal to the rear of the car and just spliced in a new wire.
