1989 honda civic si

ok so my car was just clicking under the dash (not main relay) when i tried to start it, and i traced it down to the relay labeled, denso 056700-8570, I opened it up and found that the contacts where toast so i filed them down just enough so the contacts where bare. Now the relay doesnt want to work right after i did that so i got to just push the contacts together and it starts every time. Now Ive tried and tried to search for the " starter relay" at EVERY auto parts around my area and nothing. Can any one tell me where i could buy one?

Are you refering to the main relay? Didn't think it had a seperate relay for the starter. take a picture of it and post it.

 

Yes there is starter relay and a main relay.

I would much prefer to buy a new one just so ill actually have new parts in my old car. I dislike having to fix the same problem time after time, does any one know where i could find this brand new?

 

just curious you said every parts store. but did you try the dealer ship?
