cant really find the answer I am looking for here, and I know there are some D series gurus in here.

My car 92 civic ex sedan (d16z6) head gasket is on its way out, and I am trying to find decent prices on head gaskets to fix this, as I am a broke college student. All over online im hearing/reading that y8 and z6 manifold are interchangeable. I have also read that the y8 head gasket is a tad thinner than the z6 head gasket. Ive also read that the y8 head gasket is metal while the z6 isnt. Other places im reading that they are the same thing and also that honda has replaced the z6 gasket with the y8 one. Yet when I look up the part number they are different?

d16z6 hg part number is 12251-P08-004
d16y8 hg part number is 12251-P2J-004

The y8 gasket ive noticed is much cheaper so im hoping I am in the clear.
Can someone help me out and clear up my confusion?
