Default 1987 accord lxi idle problems.

So basically what's going on is whenever I start the car, it idles rough like its missing. If I accelerate either in neutral or in gear it revs fine. It only idles rough. Also the problem started when I stalled the car by accident. I started it back up and this all started. Also if I try to start the car right away after shutting it off, it either will crank/no start or start hard and slow. If I let it sit for a few minutes it starts just fine but idles rough. I replaced the plugs thinking I could've fouled some out when I stalled it. No results. The wires are old but in tact so I'm replacing them anyways to see if it will help out. Any input or suggestions? I'm thinking 1 of 4 things can be going on. Bad wires/ Weak or bad coil/ fuel pressure/ or it jumped a tooth out of time. Thanks guys

Update: I shouldn't say " no results" for replacing the plugs. When I replaced them, I started it and it idled and ran just fine, I let it warm up for about 5 to 10 minutes and it still was idling great. I shut it off, then tried starting it again, crank/no start, let it sit for a few, started fine but still the rough idle.

Not too familiar with the lxi set up I assume fuel injection..... the rough idle can be either too much or not enough gas, sticky part... I would start with the cheap fix... fuel cleaning product... everyone raves about techtron....

The weird part is that it runs fine sometimes and not other times... loose or dirty contact.... loose wire, borderline voltage output by the battery and weak alternator at idle.... In our old cars it can be so many things as simple as a dirty contacts.

When was the last time you did a basic tune up on it? Cap, rotor, and wires are dirt cheap, and will ensure that they're not causing any problems. Hows the air and fuel filters? And yes, clean the battery contacts and grounds too.
