Icon6 IDENTIFIED B SERIES ENGINE BLOCKS NON ID

HI GUYS I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF A SITUATION I HAVE BEEN AFFORD FOR SALE WHAT IS SUPOSE TO BE AN INTEGRA GSR BLOCK ALREADY SLEEVED FOR BOOST BUT THE ID AND SERIAL NUMBER HAS BEEN SCRATCHED OFF HOW CAN I IDENTIFY VISUALLY IF ITS A REAL GSR NOT A LS VTEC AND NOT A DC2 NOT A DA MODEL. THANK YOU VERY MUCH ANY RESPONSE WILL BE A GREAT HELP.

It was prob stollen.... You can measure the deck height and look for other key points on a gsr

Yeah I thought about that but the guy is giving all his info and has assured me is not stolen he is swapping to a K20.

Thanks I will look up the height measurement for the GSR block.

if you get pulled over with that block it will be bad . check with your local chp see if its ok to buy it.over here they would tow te ar pull the motor out charge your for labor and. you have to pay for storage.

Smart move, there are only two reasons I can think of that the block ID and serial number would be removed, either one is not good for you...
1- engine is stolen.
2- engine is not as claimed, it is not a GS-R block, [B18C1]. 94
