I bought this Civic and it runs out of gas at about half a tank, ran out of gas in it.

Checked fuel pump and tank everthing is fine, anything else i can check?

91 DX 5-speed all stock.

 

Mine does it too. i think the sock/filter fell off of my pump.

 

Are you sure you checked the fuel pump and tank properly? Because I'm almost 100% sure your fuel sock either fell off or broke. Drop the tank again and pull the fuel pump to make the sock is on it. If the sock is on the pump, make sure its the correct one.

nope. if you're running out of gas at half of a tank your sock isn't on correctly or your tank is half full of sludge/rust/sand. the evap system is removable, i merely have a hose running from the vent tube on the fire wall to down under the car, no issues.
