I know it's been asked before, but couldn't find anything relevant to my question. I have an old but good set of struts and springs from my 94 hatch, and was wondering if they will bolt up to my current 1999 4dr daily. The ones in the 4dr are getting near shot. For some reason I remember hearing/reading somewhere that its not a 100% bolt on affair. Just wanted to clarify before I get the jack out and start tearing things apart. Thanks!

 

They should, it just does not work the other way around. fifth generation rear shocks are wider at the bottom, so will need some washers if you want to use them. The shocks from the 99 will not fit rear of the 94, the bushing on the LCA is too long.
