Cold Air Intake that'll fit Civic B20 swap
Is there a good CAI that's recommended for a B20 setup into my 1997 Civic. I am trying to put together some parts for my future swap that a local shop will be doing. I'd like something that pulls air from the outside instead of from under the hood.
On second thought is a CAI a bad idea because of the potential for water being sucked into the engine?

Well yes maybe I did but I was hoping for confirmation so thanks. I was really hoping someone would come out and say that these cars have splash guard so water wouldn't get up into the air filter but I guess that doesn't help on a Civic.

They make bypasses for CAI so you won't hydrolock the motor. When I put a GSR into my 94 civic hatch I used a intake from a integra and fitment was perfect.
you can get a cold air intake application with a bypass valve. you wont have to worry about sucking water in.
you can get a CAI that fits a b18B1, B18C1, or etc. any b series application will fit...

negatory, a gsr one won't fit. you can use one for an LS or type r. if you want it to go through the hole where a factory intake goes through, you can use one for an SI.
