Icon3 motor selection help!!

i cant make up my mind! i want to do a motor swap into my eg hatch. everybody tells me something different. im debating between gsr and type r b18
some ppl say to go type r because gsr's throw rods and that they can wax gsr's. then some ppl say go gsr for the tranny and good for boost. so this is what i want so yall can help me better. i want it for DD, i must have vtec cuz i dont have it now and want it so bad. i want a good strong responsive tranny and a motor that can handle boost in the future. but for the first 3 years of its life is gonna be NA. i just want POWER like a fast af daily driver. i aint gotta worry about longevity, reliability, durability, ect. its a Honda!! so if yall can help me out i would appreciate it thx
my budget it 6 to 7 grand max
im open to all motors except K cuz budget dosent allow lol

if people have been telling you all kinds of different things already, what makes you think things will be different here?

My advice? Don't sink 6-7 grand into a Honda.

Do you know how long these cars have been around? Don't you think there is PLENTY of info on ALL these motors already? Do you own reseach, pick your own goals, and budget. Then choose what motor is good for you.

Isnt this like asking what color underwear to wear?

Time for you to do more research.Your questions have been asked about a gazillion times.
I cant impress upon you enough to read read read, and when you think you have read enough... read some more.
Use google to search this site. use honda-tech in your search string.
idk where you got those wierd notions do gsr's throw rods easilly, have better trannies than.... or gawd idk
Sounds like you have been hanging out at the autoshop class in school too long.
Its urban legend time here on HT guys.
Lets put some pop rocks in the gas tank and see if it explodes?
