I own a 1989 Accord LX (Carb) where is the ECU located and is it possible to receive codes from it and possibly reset it somehow the car floods itself on cold starts (in the morning) and I have reason to suspect its an electrical problem just not sure where to start any advice is appreciated.

 

Best guess is above the fuse box, if it is designed like the carb civic. But it does not give codes.
Unless it is designed like the fi, check under the passenger seat, then the blinking led gives the code.

 

The carb model didn't come with an ecu. Its mostly module that controls emissions but its under the driver seat.
