So Ive looked through my car and all Im seeing is 3 motor mounts and the auto parts store catalog says there should be 4 on a b18b1. So I have a couple questions

-Do I use Del Sol motor mounts or B18B1 Integra Mounts?
-Can I see a diagram/picture of where all the motor mounts are on someone else's car possibly?
-My car bucking when I let off the gas in any gear is a bad motor mount most likely correct?

 

Seeing as how there is no such thing as a B18B in a DelSol I don't see how the auto parts store is telling you anything.

 

BECAUSE I told them to look up a 1994 Integra which did come with a b18b1

 

A B series Del Slo comes with 5 mounts (two lower front, LH, rear and trans) and so does a D series....Not sure where you got 3 mounts from. Look at the Honda eStore sight to see the diagram(s). www.estore.honda.com and follow the prompts

 

You can run three mounts (LH, Rear, and Trans) But the lower mounts should stop the bucking feeling and make it a bit safer to drive.

 

That would explain it. You confused yourself.

 

The Del Sol will use the same mounts for the B series as the D series so it does not matter in other words you will use Del Sol mounts it does not matter if they are B or D series. If there is no AC then you may not have the drivers side lower torque mount since it attaches to the AC bracket. If you have Hasport mounts or any solid mounts you dont even need the torque mounts. I ran my B18B1 with out AC for a few days with no torque mount and on the track the valve cover hit the hood and left a little dent from the extra engine movement. If you are running OEM mounts then you need all of them and there should be 5 altogether.
